I am considering spending a small fortune on a stroller for WDW (checking ebay and last years models to get as good a price as possible). My daughter will be 18 months old when we go. I think she would prefer something that reclines (we would prefer to let her nap in the stroller during the day if at all possible), so I have already ruled out the Volo. Can anyone help me with the differences between these? How far do they recline? Also, does anyone have any experience with the durability of the wheels on these? Is there something better out there for the same or less money? I would like to try them out before buying, but there is no place around here that sells them. We will be using all Disney transportation for our 10 day stay in Sept. I have and love a Jeep 3-wheeled stroller with air-filled tires, but it is huge and very heavy. Please help me choose a stroller that my daughter might like.

Thank you!

We bought a Quest for our newest baby after finding the Macs on these boards. I bought my first, a Volo, a few years ago for our third child for Disney trips only (as she was 6 at the time and didnt use a stroller at home). I too was wondering why I was spending so much ($68 at the time) on an "umbrella" stroller. All I can say is that it was the best purchase I ever made and I wish I had found them years earlier when I really needed a stroller for everyday use. Well, when our 4th came along I knew exactly what stroller I was going to get and I did. I got my Mac Quest from www.albeebaby.com for $129 and free shipping. They have the same one still and it is $109.99 with free shipping. I like the Quest over the Triumph because it has more recline options and leg extenders for little ones.

We have the Mac Triumph which we purchased for our last Disney trip with DS who was 16 months at the time. That worked out great, we LOVE our Mac and the quality it top notch. This trip the baby won't even be 1 yet so I wanted something with a bit extra padding a more recline but with the same convenient folding and lightweight as the Mac. I purchased the Combi Helio at http://www.amazon.com/Combi-Helio-L...ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1208866821&sr=8-1 with free shipping. I was going to purchase another Mac the Quest Sport but we are trying to penny pinch and the Macs are definately more $$. I went to Babies R' Us and tried out the Combi. I wasn't super impressed but everyone on the board has recommended it over and over. I figured I'd give it a try. It came 2 weeks ago and I've been using it, I acutally have to say I love it and I'm glad I gave it a try. If you go with a Mac make sure you check out the recline on it because the more expensive ones go down slightly further than the ones that use the strap to relcline in the back.
I decided on the Helio because it came with an extra carry bag on the back, which I wanted because of the limited size of the basket. There is one without for around $69 at Babies R' Us. www.albeebaby.com has it too.

I posted this question last week - I don't know how to put a link in to my thread, but if you seach, you should be able to find it. I have the Triumph, and love it, but am planning on getting the Quest because I want the extra recline. DS will be 13 months at the time of the trip

Would this work with a 4 month old?

My wife and I bought 2 Combi strollers last year after reading rave reviews. We have a 4 year old and 2 year old. We were initially thrilled with them however, after several trips to DL and WDW we have changed our minds. We just bought a Mac Volvo for our 4 year old and the Mac Triumph for our 2 year old (Due to the recline feature) We like them much better, and here is why. They way the combi is designed the whold frame flexex (It has to in order to fold the way it does) This makes it hard to steer. We also had a wheel break on one of them (actually collapsed in half!) WIth the Maclarens, the frame is stiff, we can actually steer them with one hand. You could never do that with the Combi. I say go with the Mac, you will be very happy with it. P.S. The Macs are a little lighter than the Combi's as well.

im also looking and although havent tried it in person yet, i like the look of it.
the strollers from babyplanet.

Would this work with a 4 month old?

Possibly- I would say that is about the age I first started out using it, but she didnt look too comfy in it at that point. It doesnt have a full recline and for a Disney trip I would think such a small baby would need that. We took our full size stroller on our trip and she was 3 1/2 mos old then. Now, at 6 1/2 mos she loves the Mac Quest and gets very excited when she sees it since she knows she will be going walking.

Does the Quest have a basket?

My Quest does have a basket underneath.

About the Combi stroller- yep I agree. They are not built to last and once the child gets just a bit of weight on them they are a pain to push. Always kicking the wheels too- what a nightmare!
