mac and cheese topping?

I usually top with panko or regular bread crumbs before baking, but I am out! What should I top it with? Crushed up saltines? And ideas? What do you top yours with?

Take some white bread and a couple of clove of garlic and pusle in the food processor. Heat up a pan and add equal amount of butter and olive oil (1tbsp. each or more). Toss in pan until golden brown. Place on mac n cheese and bake. Yum o!

Any kind of crackers or chips, mixed with melted butter. Or French fried onions.

Same here but I think we will try some of these others. When we make cheesy potatoes we use corn flakes for a topping. The Ritz crackers with Parmesan cheese sounds really good too.

I just top mine with cheese. It's already a pan full of carbs so I don't think it needs a layer of crumbled carbs on top.
