MA And RI and DCI

I just want to say that the people of MA and RI are some of the NICEST people I have met! I just spent the last 5 days in Franklin, MA, at the Drum Corp Finals in Foxboro. We also spent time in Providence, RI taking care of some geneology business at the state info center.

Everywhere we went this weekend, we met great people!!

DCI finals in Gillette Stadium were GREAT. The Cadets WON (YEAH!!!). My only complaint about the stadium was the $25 a night parking fee! (DH and I remarked that we have stayed in motels cheaper!)

So to the people that are in the area, a big THANK YOU for all your kindness!

I am washing clothes and repacking. I am heading to WDW and SSR in 48 hours.

DD and I watched one of the corps rehearsing at our high school's field one day. They were fantastic! Glad you had a great time.

That sounds so exciting! I hope I catch the re-run of the finals on TV. I love watching drum corps. I was so close to being a part of it when I was in college, but didn't do it. I could kick myself now for not having the experience!
