Hello,
both Options have FP, but what are the differences?
1.does one have other characters vs the other?
2. backdrop for Pictures
3. Overall interaction and atmosphere.

thanks Website is vague

Wait, the Mickey at MK speaks? I thought that it ran its course for a while but then it was back to non-speaking Mickey. When did this change take place?

He's been talking Mickey for some time now (except on occasion when he's having technical difficulties).

Good to know, but the only bummer is that my 3 year old will be wondering why all Mickey's friends aren't speaking! I'm curious as to why this technology wasn't at least rolled out to the other core characters.

I prefer the Epcot meet and greet. I feel like it's a better use of a fp because there isn't a lot to choose from at Epcot. Also, you see Minnie and Goofy too. We didn't feel rushed when we were there last week. Our group of 10 took several pics with each character. I did the talking Mickey meet and greet in 2014 and my youngest was 3 at the time. He didn't like it, and I wasn't impressed either considering how long we stood in the line that night. Too many other things to do in MK for me! I see Mickey in Epcot :)

Am I the only one who thinks its weird that you can meet Mickey in every park, yet MK has the only talking Mickey? I don't know....just seems like it could be confusing for a young kid.

I think the kids always wonder why none of the characters talk.
(Even before meeting talking Mickey)

Talking Mickey isn't different, talking Mickey is normal!

We met the talking Mickey with my pre-K nephew this Christmas, and as we were leaving, he stated, "I really liked that Mickey!"

Is it like a mechanical voice? or is the human inside speaking in a high pitch voice... I dont know the idea of a tallking mickey is kinda freaking me out.

It's not freaky at all, it's actually quite special, and the first time it was kind of moving. I mean it's Mickey Bleeping Mouse, talking to ME! It's his voice, the same voice you hear in shows and parades, does not sound mechanical at all.

Each time I've met him at the Town Square Theater in MK the conversation has been different. The most recent time, we were wearing our Anniversary buttons. Mickey noticed it, asked us about, noticed our matching hats, etc. It's super cool.

I didn't find it creepy. It allows for some really fun and personal interactions that weren't possible before. Mickey messed with my daughter's mouse ears and kept moving around the room asking "Can you hear me now?" trying to see if they really worked. It was really cute.

Why would it freak you out...?

I would od the Epcot Mickey as his outfit is iconic to me - I've always been disappointing in the Magic Kingdom Mickey costume.

I am imagine a human inside speaking and some voice box manipulating their voice...Kinda robotic like.. that is freaking me out.. Maybe I have seen too many sci-fi movies. I am curious if

1. The human needs to fake their voice to sound like mickey... ( just curious how many CMs can do that and be consistant sounding alike

2. or does some box change their voice ( like breathing helium)

3. or are the messages pre-recorde..

Sorry I didnt think myself I would think too much about this.

3). I believe it's all pre-recorded
There's a slight delay between a statement and response.
