I am trying to wrap my head around this. I don't get how this is going to work. So, the security check is set up off to the side of the escalators, in what used to be part of the Pinocchio parking lot.
So, here is where I am confused.
How are they going to close off the escalators so that everyone has to funnel through the security area and then how will they load the trams if they can only have people approaching from one side? What happens when people come back to the structure...how will they get to the escalators? Will they have to go back through the checkpoint? Where will they offload the trams? How will they manage crowd flow if the drop off has to happen in the secure area as well (so people can access the escalators)?
I read they are closing off the walking path to DtD that comes out near Naples. So now everyone will have to use the tram every time? Do they plan on running more trams to offset this?
