LYNX to the Liquor Store?

Does anyone know of liquor store close to WDW?

Or how bout a grocery store close to WDW? Other than Goodys, or Goodings, I don't know the real name.

HAs anyone used LYNX to do grocery shopping from a WDW Resort?

Sounds like a lot of trouble to save a few dollars to me. THey sell liquor at all the resors in the gift shop.

If you can afford liquor you can afford to take a taxi to the stores.

Closest liquor store we go to is near the Crossroads shopping complex..Take a left at that inter section and its down on the right, near Winn Dixie grocery store..If your in good condition and staying on Disney property u could take a bus to DTD and walk..: ))

I don't know how much booze the OP is looking to buy but the taxi charge will probably wipe out the savings over just buying a bottle in the resort.

Depending on how much you drink. A sixer of domestic beer cans is $10 at a resort and $16 for imports. I'm like you. I will hit the grocery for our trip.

The liquor store at Crossroads Plaza is ridiculously expensive - it is actually linked to the supermarket there - about 50%-75% markup from what I pay at home in NY. Nevertheless, it still saves you money over the bar at your resort. But i know that you can find more reasonable prices if you venture a little further. If you take a right out of the Crossroads parking lot and go about 2-3 miles, I know there's another liquor store around there that is a bit more reasonable.

That's the ABC Store, just two blocks past Palm Parkway, I am not sure it is much more than a mile. Best prices and selection in this part of town. It is in with the Winn Dixie, which is not in the same league as Publix but still 10x better than Goodings if you need a grocery store.

I checked and found a few DIS posts that said both garden grocer & we go shop will deliver some alcoholic beverages.

Maybe the $10 or so fee is better than a taxi or rental car + time away from your vacation?

I've never used one of these services but the DISers who have seem to have loved it.
