Has anyone done this recently? About how long was the ride and cost? Also checking out the shuttle option.

Thanks!

POP to Legoland is about $36 for X. With just about any Disney resort, you have to enter it as Disney's _____ resort, as in Disney's POP. If you do that, it "pops" right up.

(I have to stop using RideGuru for Orlando fares. Every time I do, I'm still shocked at how low the driver rates are there. On that POP-Legoland ride, an Orlando driver would make a full $10 less than I'd make for the same ride here in Miami! SMH.)

I've said this before in other posts about ride-sharing to/from Legoland: I'd be worried about the availability of vehicles for the ride home. Uber/Lyft drivers aren't dispatched like taxis...there has to be a driver available to take you, or you're out of luck. I live in Washington DC (in DC proper), but I occasionally find there aren't any drivers available. Throw in the potential for surge pricing, and its not something I'd do.

Hopefully, someone with actual experience with that trip can offer some advice. I don't drive in that market, but other posters here do.

OP, if you have to take a taxi back, it would be about $88 according to RideGuru vs $36 for Uber or Lyft. You might also look at the option of renting a car for one day.

I was going to book the shuttle ride no matter what just in case, it's $5 round trip so at least I know we can get back. I'm more concerned about getting there by opening, we only have the one day and my son is a HUGE lego fan. :)

I can't drive or I'd definitely rent a car, so much easier. ::yes::
