Lyft drops surge pricing, MCO experiences?

Looks like this is just getting going. Anyone noticed it being dropped at MCO yet?

Also I’m not sure how successful that will be… Lyft says driver supply is at a 3 year high but who is gonna wanna drive for them when Uber has surges? Although I guess if they all leave Lyft to do Uber during surge times then maybe there won’t be an Uber surge time either…

Hopefully the increase base pay, that could attract more drivers in the long run.

9 days ago my flight into MCO was delayed.I arrived at 2:30am. When I went on Lyft, it gave me a price of $400+ dollars to get home (I live about 30 minutes from the airport). I went to Uber and paid $56, So as of 9 days ago, I don't think that they had removed surge pricing.
