Luxury on a budget

You've obviously never been to BC...very luxurious! I'm very picky and it exceeded even my expectations.

I haven't been to Bonnet Creek, but I have been to several Orlando timeshares and do own at Marriott's Grande Vista. While these are excellent resorts with great amenities, they don't compare on a "luxury scale" to luxury brand hotels like JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton, or St Regis. When I think of luxury accommodations, I am thinking a full service resort with daily maid service, room service, high-end onsite restaurants, full service spa, and your every desire attended to. You won't find many timeshares in Orlando or elsewhere with this. Timeshares are appealing to those who prefer their privacy with comfortable accommodations and the ability to cook your own meals. When it comes to luxury, cooking ones own meals is not what one would have in mind.

Gaylord Palms is a luxury hotel. it is really not geared for kids even though they have some large pools. You should stick with Bonnet Creek or one of the marriott vacation club villas. They are like a condo. you will have so much more room and have a washer/dryer too. They have huge pools, lazy river tubing etc.. you will appreciate having a lot of room. GP is just a really nice hotel room. I drive in to disney all the time. those disney buses are ridiculous. I always have to wait and wait. rental prices in orlando are very reasonable and worth it. with a full kitchen at a condo, you can eat in and save.

I see your point. I like a really nice places where I can spread out and feel like I'm at home, not in a hotel room. I hate hotel rooms!!! What I meant to say is that if you like a luxurious atmosphere, BC is definitely it! I don't need to be waited on hand and foot. I do believe BC has a spa...I could be wrong.
