LuvLuvLuv's Memories TR Starts Pg 73 - Honeymoon Day 6.1

I'm so sorry about all the headache and nightmears you've been having but once your day comes I'm sure it will all be worth it and it will be magical!!

Can't wait to hear about it!

And I know your trip is budget for you, but it could be SO much worse! And eating quick service will actually work out well for you because you're going during Food and Wine--- so you'll get to graze.

Jackie's right! Haha, until you've done Disney the way I did it the last time before the honeymoon (drove down - trip takes about 20 hours, stayed at a Motel 6, ate one counter service lunch at the parks and PB & J for dinner every night) you haven't done Disney on a shoestring ;) But Food and Wine is a really good idea. you'll get to try lots of exciting things there!

I really, really hope you can start to see the positives of this trip and your wedding. I know it is super stressful before hand and it sounds like Dave isn't helping much. But fingers crossed that once you get there all the magic will kick in! :wizard:

Yep its close; you are having the nightmares now, LOL!
Stay strong, healthy and keep thinking about walking down the middle of Main Street USA with your HUSBAND!

Deena sweetie - Yay for 3 weeks!!
Don't worry about the dreams because that is exactly what they are - dreams. The reality will be perfect!!! So what if you have left open lunches and breakfasts, just chill and wing it. Sometimes the trips where you just go with the flow are the ones which turn out to be the happiest!!
You will be in WDW and you will be getting married!! All will be well!!

Ack! I missed some posts. Deena, your nightmares sound HORRENDOUS! :grouphug:I hope they don't continue!

The surprise shower from your work sounds awesome. I'm glad SOMEONE came through for you!

And I know your trip is budget for you, but it could be SO much worse! And eating quick service will actually work out well for you because you're going during Food and Wine--- so you'll get to graze.

I'm SURE your money will work out! It will be okay! Do you have anything you can... sell? :lmao: (Seriously, I've been looking at all of my belongings yesterday and seeing if I can sell anything. Unfortunately, nada!)

You'll be in Disney soon, regardless, and it will be magical. :D

Yeah... I'm hoping all will work out---That's all I can do!!! These dreams have to stop though!!! Just wait!!! They're coming for you, lol!

I'm so sorry about all the headache and nightmears you've been having but once your day comes I'm sure it will all be worth it and it will be magical!!

Can't wait to hear about it!

I can't wait to report it!!! I want pictures now, lol!

Lol--sounds like my childhood trips--then I started spoiling myself,. I'm off tonight, so I'm going to try to do all my trip laundry and put it in a suitcase--that'll take stress off!!

Yep its close; you are having the nightmares now, LOL!

So it's normal, lol!! I'm soooooooooooooo ready!!!

 Thanks a bunch :) Last night, DF said he was getting excited. Just to hear him say that snapped me out of my funk :) We'll make it all work and it will be fabulous!!

So as some of you know. I'm in a support group called the Resort Changers--- it's a group for those who have changeritis. So everyday I check the resorts because I want to check my odds of an upgrade  Well the GF is completely 100% sold out. I had previously checked the other monorail resorts -- the monorail was 100% sold out. When I booked the GF, I was trying to get CL, but it wasn't available yet--now there's not even a water view available--nothing--nada--not even an overpriced suite. But what pops up when it says that the GF isn't available today????????? CR TOWER MK VIEW :scared1: I knew I had to act fast. Do I want the GF which I've dreamed of my whole life----or the castle and to be in the main building?? So I hadn't made up my mind yet, but I decided to go ahead and get on the phone just in case. I think I drove the lady crazy---but in the end--the castle won. It was $30 more... but it's the castle. We're eating at Artist Point and California Grill... so it makes tons of sense there. There's a boat to AP and CG is right there. Now I have to make 100 phone calls to let people know I'm crazy and changed my resort 15 days before I leave. C'mon people--we're talking the castle here. Did I mess up? Did I do the right thing? Is it just a disease? Oh well--it's done now  I read a fellow resort changers TR and she just stayed at the CR and I for some reason just got a real itch to stay there. DF is gonna be mad. He doesn't care where we stay--he just thinks I'm cutting it really close

So that's it for today. I wanted to stay with my fellow brides, but truth be told... I don't like light wood and the bedspread at the GF doesn't excite me :rotfl2: The TRs I've been reading said it's been beat up lately and I guess the excitement was just not there--plus I'm nervous it's going to be overcrowded. We'll get there, jump on the monorail and go! I'm excited--I just need a little re-inforcement here. Castle Castle Castle :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Happy Tuesday!

I think that's awesome! You did the right thing. :goodvibes AND YOU GET THE CASTLE!!!:cool1::yay::woohoo::dance3::cheer2:

Haha wow, 15 days before your trip! But I definitely think it's a good choice. Yeah, it's the castle - and if it gets you more excited about this trip you're taking (because I know you've been feeling a little down), then definitely a good thing! Hope it got your spirits up! :goodvibes

How exciting!! The Grand isn't really our style either, sorry to everyone who I know loves it!! The CR tower is awesome, and the view of the castle is definitely to die for!! We stayed there for DF's 27th birthday and just waking up and seeing the castle is amazing. You will love it!! And you're right, being right in the tower is soooo convenient!! :woohoo:

You did the right thing! I can tell your excited by the castle just by reading your words, so if it makes you feel that good then you did the right thing. besides it's the castle :thumbsup2

I found the nightmares never went away... I had them regulary, Even when we got to WDW. But like Joanne said they're just dreams, your day will be perfect.

2 weeks 2 days to go :goodvibes x

You totally did the right thing, who wouldn't want to be able to see the castle first thing in the morning and last thing before bed? Castle all the way! Nice choice!

As much as I love the GF, I own at BLT and when we stayed there for our VR, we loved it!!!! Just to wake up with all that magic right on your doorstep, and be able to look out of the window at the MK and the CASTLE is beyond magical!!! You definitely made the right decision IMHO.
Just FYI, if you like waking up near the castle, try DLR Paris's Disneyland hotel some time. That amazing hotel acts as the entrance to the park, and actually straddles the first part of Main Street USA, so in some rooms, you can look directly down MS to the gorgeous pink castle (which is the prettiest of all the Disney castles IMHO). It is also styled in a very similar way to the GF.

I totally think you made the right decision! We stayed at BLT for part of our wedding week and I almost wish we would have stayed there the entire time. To wake up to see the castle will be amazing! Plus, I totally love the fact that you can walk, bus, or monorail to the MK. I can't tell you the number of times we just strolled over there. It was sooo nice!

(((I totally want to go there now!!)))

Yay for the castle!

I agree--- you sound SO excited about the castle. And, well, IT'S THE CASTLE!!!!!

Thanks everyone!!! So this morning my room was available for 2 more nights (it wasn't yesterday) so $197 later.... I have the castle for 2 more nights. I shouldn't have spent it--but the convenience and the awesome room will be worth it. I just have a feeling I'm not going to want to leave the room after 2 nights--I'm going to have a sick attachment to seeing the castle in the holiday lights which are our favorites (even he said it last night--made me melt). We still have OKW for the last 2 nights... which is fine... I really am excited about being there. I kinda wanted to split it 3 and 3... but there our Ohana ressie and EMH on night 4 and walking back sounds amazing.

I think we're set. I probably said that yesterday... but these rooms coming available last minute are hard to pass up!! I hope we love it. I was nervous to tell DH that I switched again... but I think he's excited about the convenience of the monrail being right there and seeing the castle at night all lit up for Christmas!! I love it. I'm officially excited!! :dance3:

I did my laundry yesterday for the trip, but need to re-look at what I'm taking since we won't have a washer and dryer until day 5. I want to pack my clothes tomorrow night. I will put them in the suit case, and the night before I'll fluff them in the dryer to take the wrinkles out and put them back in, lol.

I called everyone, except Jason to tell them I switched rooms. I saw on FB he was out on a wedding, and we should be talking soon anyway... so I'll let him know then.

That's about it!! Hope everyone is having a great week, and those who are getting close aren't too crazy!! :upsidedow

Ooh, your countdown is getting so close!

Great decision to change to the CR with the MK view. We stayed in a grand villa (absolutely awesome!) at BLT last year and the view from just the observation deck was amazing - to actually have the MK view from your room is the ultimate. To see that view whenever you are in your room will be so cool.

I know you have mentioned the monorail but being able to walk to Magic Kingdom is so convenient and really can't be beaten.

Hope the rest of the planning goes ok :)
