luton airport

Hi never flown from the above .................. has anyone flown from here?

We normally fly from Bristol or Cardiff so looking for thoughts on size/security/what like etc. Dont want to fly from a big airport.

Trying to organise a suprise trip for my mum birthday next year and one of options is Halkidiki which unfortunately only fly from more London, Birmingham etc not local

I live about 20 mins from Luton airport & have flown to europe several times from there. It's quite a nice airport, not huge but by no means tiny.

I haven't flown to or from Luton since DD was a baby but we lived there (in Luton, not at the airport ) and it was pretty pleasant then. If there is a good deal flying out from there I would have no hesitation in grabbing the bargain and going with it.

I also live about 20 minutes from Luton Airport. Ive always found it quite a nice airport to fly from. A few decent shops, and a good bar

Ive always found that it seems quite calm for an airport - certainly atleast after the hustle and bustle of Gatwick.

If only they would fly to Orlando....

Another near Lutoner, apart from them charging you to drop people off at the airport (seriously!) it is a fairly decent size, but nothing overwhelming like Gatwick or Heathrow.
