Another (primarily) lurker here. I would like a tag though

I lurk here - I lurk everywhere. I think I'm meant to be a lurker. I'm pretty quiet in real life also. At all of the sites I visit, I don't post unless I really want to say something about that topic.

Even the one internet message board I was really involved in and met people from I was really more of a lurker than a poster.

It took me 5 years to reach 1,000 posts, so I was probably a lurker for a long time. The American Idol thread got me chatting. Now I'm on my way. Whether people recognize me or not, who knows? The numbers are high here.

I love this board and read it daily but I mostly lurk. I like the pic-of-the-day threads and sometimes get involved posting but usually get scared off by the amazing photos other poster's have taken.

What I really like about the DIS is that if I do decide to post, the responses are generally KIND whether they agree with me or not. I got burned on another disney themed board with some really mean answers to questions I thought were resonable ........I left that board for good!!

I'm still a little gun-shy about posting but even if I wasn't I'll always be a lurker.......that's just me...I'm a lurker not a poster. Love the DIS!!!

You can give yourself a tag--it will be black, but it will be a tag. With any luck the Tag Fairy will colorize it and/or give you another tag sometime.
