Lupo's in Providence, RI

Have any DISers been to Lupo's before? What can you tell me about it?

Hmmmm-I wonder who could possibly be playing at Lupo's, that Chell would need to know about????

Chell--typical nightclub type venue. Not truly a dive, and actually a decent place to see a show.

After the week I've had I think I really need this little trip. I just hope I have a great time and finally get my one-on-one pic with Chris.

Chris is opening for Martin Sexton. Why don't you come join us? I've got 2 extra tickets.

Ooooh--I like Martin Sexton. Hmmm, something to think about, but I do have a VERY busy concert schedule this summer;

Guster, Sting, Barenaked Ladies, and Jimmy Buffett.

I used to go pretty much every week but I haven't been in about a year or 2. They have always had great bands play.

I DO want to meet you, really! Saturday is my on call night for work for this weekend, it just won't work. DRAT!!!!!!

how would you describe Pushstars music? I'm curious from all your posts I've read about them... btw... Lupo's is a fairly popular spot in Providence... think you'll probably like it... not fancy schmancy but good atmosphere

Hi minmate! Some people call them sort of folky-pop. I don't think it is too folky though. If you click on the link in my siggy you can hear some of their music. Let me know if you listen and what you think.

I wish I could put my finger on what it is that I like about their music so much, but I just can't. I think Chris has a very special gift for songwriting and his voice is like no other. They are all great musicians.
