Lunch?

Good Afternoon everyone!

On our first day at WDW we are not visiting the parks since our flight comes in around 2pm and we don't want to use a whole day on our park hopper ticket for only a half day at the parks. So we are eating at California Grill to watch Wishes at night. It's a late dinner, so we need to eat a late lunch to hold us over until then.

It needs to be at a resort. We are staying at the Pop Century, but we want to visit as many resorts as possible just to see them and experience the great restaurants. What do you suggest?

Have you tried Pepper Market at CSR? Their food is really yummy, and their portions are huge so it may even be possible to split a meal between the two of you. If you like Mexican I recommend the wet burrito or if they have a loaded nacho's special: yum!!

Mara at AKL is also good and they have some interesting foods in addition to the usual chicken fingers and burgers. The Tandoori Chicken pizza is awesome and the African stew is very good as well. Plus, who doesn't want to check out AKL?!

Enjoy lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable, and you'll get to view what many consider to be Disney's premier resort.

If you're looking for something on the fun side, try Whispering Canyon at WL. It's good food and it has a great view of the hotel since it's centrally located.

My vote goes for Beaches and cream at the beach club....The food there is yummy... then you could walk over or take the boat over to the Boardwalk and go exploring.

We enjoy lunch at Beaches and Cream, Kona Cafe and the Grand Floridian Cafe. You would not got wrong with any of these choices. ESPN Club on the Boardwalk is another option.
