Whew what a lunch that was!!!:p

DD had a really bad morning and I put her on the bus crying. :( I felt bad all morning and decided to surprise her at lunch. She loved and so did all her classmates! You would think they never saw a grownup before!;)

Boy can those kiddies talk. I forgot what its like to be around 20 kids who are talking all at once. How do you teachers do it????:)

It was really neat to go and be with her for a little while, however, I think I will only do this once or twice a year!;)

Try having lunch 5 days a week with over 100 kindergarteners, first and second graders:tongue:

I had to take my dd something to school one time. I ended up going during her lunch time. Her teacher put my dd and 3 of my dd's friends and me at a different part of the table than the rest of the class. At first I thought she was putting me in detention.;) My dd and her friends loved it. They acted like we were the only ones in the cafeteria. 4 littles girls together sure can talk!

I'm constantly amazed about what teachers do.:)

Glad you had fun, Jen.:)

I used to surprise my DS's at lunch once in a while. I would usually bring them fast food. They liked for me to come because we got to sit at a special table and we could talk when everyone else had to be quiet.

DSs are in H.S. and M.S. now to I think they would be humiliated if I showed up. I'll be able to eat lunch with DD in a couple of years.
