We plan to eat our big meal at lunch. Any suggestions for the 4 main theme parks?

AK doesn't have a table service except for Rainforest (not a fave of mine), but they have 2 counter service that are supposeded to be very very good - Tusker House and Flame Tree.

MGM has some good table service, IMO. I think my choice would be 50's PT or Sci Fi due to atmosphere. 50's PT has incredible food and huge portions. SciFi has decent burgers.

Epcot has loads of options. My fave is Marrakesh in Morocco. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and they have a belly dancer and band that performs.

MK has a couple of character meals, like Crystal Palace and Cindy's. I honestly never eat table service there anymore so I can't really recommend anything and be honest about it ;)

Don't knock out resort restaurants, too. I think Disney food shines at their resorts, and often it's just as easy to leave the park for a meal and take a break. You have access to lots of hotels from MK, MGM, and Epcot.

Check out http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#ak for all the restaurants.

Sounds like you like most of the place we enjoy. Our son will be 16 so I think he might like the belly dancing thing!

We eat our main meals at lunch too

We usally do Hollywood & Vine at MGM, Crystal Palace at MK and Le Cellier at Epcot.

Hubby loves buffets

I often make lunch my main meal. In Epcot, I love Chefs de France (the French special is an especially good deal). In MK, I've had lunch at CRT (before the characters) and at LTT. At MGM, I like Sci-Fi for lunch. At AK, I usually go for the hot deli sandwich at Pizzafari.

Lunch in the theme parks...

At AK we always eat at Tusker house, that rotissiere chicken/mashed potato combo is wonderful.

At MK if we want sitdown we eat at Liberty Tree Tavern. Wonderful lunch menu. Another option would be to hop the monorail quick over to Kona Cafe at the Poly for lunch. It is absolutely fantastic.

At EPCOT...we can eat almost anywhere for lunch. Our favorites..which we rotate through..lol. Biergarten, San Angel Inn, Chefs de France and Alfredo's.

At MGM our favorite used to be Hollywood and Vine, but we haven't had lunch in MGM in years. When you are in MGM it would also be very easy to hop over to the Dolphin and have lunch at Fresh. We have only had breakfast there, it is wonderful and people that we have talked with that have had lunch say it is wonderful as well.

good luck and happy eating!

At AK I would defintely chose Flame Tree BBQ. Everything was very good, especially the ribs. There is also plenty of seating in the back which is very quiet and relaxing.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ (or take the bus to AKL & Boma for an early dinner)
MGM - 50's Prime Time
Epcot - Marakesh
MK - Crystal Palace (just for the characters)
