HI. We will be arriving June 6 :bounce: :Pinkbounc for five nights concierge at the Poly. I still can't believe it.

I need to make some additional lunch plans as this is usually our bigger meal on vacations, especially in the heat. My DD's tend to be hot and tired by evening and not too interested in eating.

Anyway, so far this is what I have, and I need suggestions for the holes:teeth:

Sun - ?? arrive at Poly early at lunchtime
Mon- AK park, eat lunch at Flame Tree BBQ?
Tues - MGM, eat lunch at Sci Fi
Wed - MK (breakfast at Cindy's) late lunch ??
Thurs - Epcot (breakfast at storybook) Late lunch ??
Fri - Don't know which park in morning, so widw open for lunch.

We are willing to travel out of the parks for lunch as long as it is real convinient with 2 DD's. (5&7)

Thanks for your help!

Sun - how about Kona Cafe at the Polynesian or Gf Cafe at GF? GF Cafe may be fun since you can ride the monorail over there and have a welcome to WDW ride around and see everyting!

Wed - MK - we like having lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. It is nice after 2 as it is not so crowded.

Thurs - Epcot - a great lunch place is Rose and Crown. Sometimes you can get a table on the patio, but the inside is nice and cool if it is too hot to sit outside.

Good suggestions!

One other thing is if you want to go to DTD on Sunday instead, the Earl of Sandwich is great for lunch.

Agree 200%. :D I had a late lunch there on the19th in the Betsy Ross room. Turkey (tons of it and all white meat) w/potatoes, dressing and long green beans. Cost under $14. Couldn't eat another thing all day as I was stuffed.

By about 2:30 we had the room all to ourselves.:) Larry was our CM. He is super:D

Beaches & Cream. I also liked GF Cafe for lunch we did it right before we left WDW. It is a nice place. France for lunch is nice too.

My recommendation for Epcot is LeCellier in Canada in World Showcase. It's a MUST for me each trip.

Sunday - Kona Cafe, unpack, Volcano Pool!!! What could be better than that for your first Poly afternoon?

Epcot - Our favorite is Restaurant Marrakesh. So cool and exotic, the food is yummy and they have a belly dancer! Try the mint iced tea and a lunch combo platter. Very moderately priced, too!

The Plaza Restaurant in MK is another nice place. They have great big sandwiches, good soup and really good ice cream.

AK good choice of Flame Tree BBQ or maybe Pizzafari if kids like pizza. Plus you may want to purchase the meal tickets as they work out to be a pretty good deal especially for the kids at Pizzafari as they get the same size personal pizza as the adults.

MK - LTT is very good to eat lunch or Columbia Harbour House. If you want character interaction for lunch, then Crystal Palace. As you have younger kids, I can see you spending another afternoon here so you may get to two restaurants.

Epcot - I agree with above poster in that Le Cellier is good anytime of the day. I would also suggest that if you haven't scheduled any character lunch/dinner, go eat at the Garden Grill in the Land Pavillion. Personally we love the 8 Grain bread, mashed pot., carrots, broccoli, beef, turkey and fish strips as well as crisped apple dessert (great). You also get to meet Farmer Mickey, goofy and those darned chipmunks that can do some really crazy things when the rest. isn't full. It is a bit more expensive (about $21 for adult lunch and not sure about children) but you will leave full and have a nice character interaction. We eat here at least once a trip and haven't had a bad lunch yet.

Also, don't know if you ever tried anything at the SCi-Fi. The theme of the rest. is really cute but the food is horrible. I would suggest that you stick with the hamburger/fries and milkshake and you should be fine. Whenever we have tried anything other than that, it turned out to be a mistake.

If your looking for something a little different for anytime of the day, take the boat from MK to the Fort Wilderness and eat at Trail's End Buffet.

Have a great vacation and happy eating.
