We are looking for a nice place to enjoy lunch on our arrival day, as we figure our room won't be ready that early.

We can't decide between Beaches & Cream, Ale & Compass, or Amare?

Any recommendations? Pictures would be great!

If you're not set on strictly table-serve or full restaurants, I'd also consider Primo PIatto (quick serve, but better than most and lovely indoor or outdoor setting with the Bar Riva next door which also serves food open air but covered) - easy to get to by Skyliner.

And if you're just looking for 'American' lunch food diner-style, like Beaches and Cream, The Fountain is a great spot for burgers, shakes, etc. and is table-service or diner bar seating.

I love the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup at B&C, and I think it would be a fun place to begin your trip. However, it's possible that Ale & Compass has better food, although I've only had breakfast there, but it definitely doesn't have the fun atmosphere. I haven't been to Amare so can't comment on that.

Dont discount a quick bus ride to Disney Springs. We did Raglan Road on arrival day and it was fun and lively with live music and really got us exicted for the trip!

I also loved beaches and cream but for some reason, it feels like night/dinner food to me since its heavier.

I've eaten at all three - for food, I would go with Ale & Compass. We just ate there about a week ago and lunch was excellent. I was not a fan of Amare and it's not terribly fun to cross that incredibly busy street to get to Swan Reserve. I find B&C's food to be incredibly greasy. If you want the best of both worlds, perhaps lunch at A&C and ice cream from the walk-up window at B&C? (you can get all of the sundaes/shakes there except the kitchen sink - ask the hostess desk for a menu if need be). We also find the grab and go at the BC and YC QS to be decent if you would rather not make a reservation. As PP noted, Primo Piatto is also very good, though the lines there can get very long.

Ale & Compass. Hands down. Great Service. VERY good food. Pretty walk around the lake. JMHO

All of these are so different! Think it’s a vibe call.

Really enjoyed my lunch at Ale & Compass two trips ago. Amare is on my list to try and Beaches and Cream is just average diner food IMO.

Ale and Compass has good food and a great location. My recommendation once again depending on vibe/food preference.

Those are 3 veery diverse menus. Browse the menus and pick your favorite. Can’t go wrong with any.

Download the Swan/Dolphin app because it has the menus for those restaurants. Then, as PP said, look at the menus and see what looks good.

I like the Fountain at the Dolphin better than Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club. It feels calmer and the food is comparable.
