Lunch in Via Napoli on DDP.

Simple question hopefully - what can you select to eat at lunchtime in Via Napoli when on the DDP? Is it a table service credit only place - no QS?

Yes it's a 1 TS credit with no QS. There is no sharing on DDP. On DDP you are forced to use 1 TS credit pp, but the portions are large. That's why we usually pay OOP for a pizza and we can share it.

Via Napoli is a TS restaurant. You can order any of the entrees (mains) or the individual sized pizza when using dining credits. Unlike most TS restaurants where you order from a menu, you cannot share when using dining plan credits. In other words you cannot use 1 credit to feed 2 people at VN. On very rare occasions some have posted they were able to combine credits for a larger pizza, but this is not typical. If you have more TS booked than credits available, VN is often a good choice to pay OOP because then you can share (and the pizzas are large.)

There is a take out pizza window outside VN, but it serves the standard Disney pizza. It is not the much better thin crust wood fired pizza that you get inside VN.

When we went in Nov. DH was not able to use a TS for a individual sized make your own pizza. He had to pick one that had set toppings. We loved our meal here.

When using at TS credit at VN, you can select from the individual sized Signature Pies (pre-selected toppings) or the basic pizza (cheese). If you want any additional toppings on the basic pizza, you have to pay OOP for those.

The menu is the same at lunch and dinner time. You can select any of the entrees or pizza when using the DDP. The appetizers are only included in the DxDP (the Fritto Misto platter requires two people to use credits). The "Family Style" house salad is not included with the DDP/DxDP.

VN does not have an associated QS location, nor can any of the pizzas be ordered using QS credits. There is a pizza window (open seasonally) next to VN, but it does not serve the pizza from VN.
