What's your favorite place to eat lunch in the Magic Kingdom? I can't get an ADR for CRT this late in the game, so what would you recommend? :thumbsup2

PLAZA, PLAZA, PLAZA (unless you want characters -- then Crystal Palace)

The Plaza is just a simple relaxing pretty place for tasty sandwiches and simple fare...one of my faves...when we are not doing a character meal :)

I agree with both Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree Tavern. Both were excellent! Can't wait to be back there in November! :) <3

My vote goes to Liberty Tree Tavern, although the Columbia House is a really great place, especially if you go upstairs so you have a view of the Haunted Mansion.

Ditto both of these. LTT and CH are our two favorites in MK. We are only doing CP so DD can see characters.

I believe that The Plaza is an excellent choice if not on the DDP/DxDP. This is a good OOP meal. Truth is price wise it isn't that much over a CS meal. Crystal Palace is pretty easy to get an ADR at, and you will be able to fill the stomach. The Plaza or even jumping on over to the Grand Floridian Cafe are other great choices close to the MK.

Thanks everyone!! There are no ADRs for Crystal Palace, although I'll keep trying over the next couple of months. I did score one for the Liberty Tree Tavern tho!! :cool1:

We had lunch at LTT and it was delicious. I had the turkey and my bf had the pot roast. The turkey was juicy and flavourful. I had a bite of the pot roast and it was really good too.

If you only want table service, I also recommend The Plaza, but I actually prefer Columbia Harbour House over anywhere else in the park.

I was going to say Columbia Harbor House if the OP wasn't able to get any ADRs.

The Plaza has nice food but the service SUCKS. Every time I have been there, including most recently last Thursday service is sloooooow as molasses and they got the order wrong last time. It is VERY frustrating. We have had several bad experiences but we keep going back because I guess we are masochists, plus, besides Columbia Harbor House there isn't much at Magic Kingdom. I don't know why we didn't do Liberty TRee Tavern this time, we definitely will next time. No more Plaza for us, unless we have a few hours to sit around and watch grass grow.

Our favorite MK eatery is Columbia Harbour House also. We've done CRT so we've had that experience and it was a good one but for the price (or 2TS) and hard to get ADR we aren't doing it this trip. My kids don't like Winnie the Pooh characters now so Crystal Palace is a thing of the past for us (bummer since I love piglet!). To me, Liberty Tree is like stouffers frozen dinners! We did it back when they had characters which kind of made it worth it but w/o the characters it lost any appeal. I wanted to love Tony's but the food is 'meh' although the lady and the tramp theming is quite pleasant.

We just happened to go into CHH once when we were hungry and that was what was nearby and we like it so that's our MK go to place.

If we want a TS on a MK day we will do a meal at one of the monorail (or boat) resorts and do it for breakfast or lunch. Ohana, Chef Mickey, or 1900PF are the usuals with the kids.

Count us in the "Columbia Harbour House" camp! We love that place! It is big, so there is always seating. We especially love to go upstairs. Since we usually are eating lunch on the early side, it is often quite up there - a nice little respite from the craziness of the park. The fish-n-chips are excellent, and they have an awesome sandwich that I love. I can't remember the name! Really, folks, I'm losing it. I even looked up the recipe for this sandwich one year! The Lighthouse maybe? It's hummus and brocolli slaw, tomato. Delish! One of the best counter service restaurants we've eaten at.
