We are visiting in early December and were wanting to take a break from the parks and have lunch in Downtown Disney one day (mid-week), will we be able to get a table if we just walk up? Or will we need reservations?
Any insight is appreciated! :D

You can just walk right up and get a table at a lot of places. Depending on where you eat, a table is still recommended. I've never had a problem getting a table without a reservation though. Downtown Disney can definitely get busy though, so if you want to avoid a wait, try to reserve something :)

Lunch usually isn't that bad. Even dinner I rarely wait more than 30 minutes. But for lunch i would probably eat at Earl of Sandwich and wouldn't need a table anyways.

We were thinking about Uva Bar or Tortilla Jo's for lunch. And I don't mind a short wait, but I don't want to be waiting more than 20-30 minutes.

DTD is pretty dead during the day on weekdays. I can't see you having a problem.

Uva bar is good people watching, but I'm a sucker for the guacamole cart at Tortilla Joe's. I could pretty much live on chips and guac. The cool thing there is with the pagers or text messages you can walk around the shops while waiting(if you need to in the day). We usually browse the art store, etc.

What's the line usually like at Earl of Sandwich? I don't remember the line being that bad the last time I was there, but it might have been off hours, and it's been awhile since I was there. In contrast, the line at Earl's in Disney World always seemed to be huge.

All good things to know. Thanks!

Its hit or miss on time of day and if there is anything else going on. I usually eat early lunch on a weekday and there maybe 2 or 3 people(groups) in front of me. But have seen it pretty long also at lunchtime on a Friday for example. Then again we have SoCal select APs and I am near the area for work conferences during weekdays. So i am rarely there during peak times.
