Hi Everyone!~

I keep Changing my mind, and could really use some thoughts!!

We are going October 23 - 30, ( My Husband, Myself, My Sons 10&7 and Daughter 4)

We are not on the dining plan.... But Do want to Eat Out and enjoy some character meals and good eats!!

We have reservations for the following:

Sunday - We arrive at 9 am... Planning the Food & Wine Fest at night
Monday - Ohana - Dinner
Tuesday - T-Rex - Dinner
Wednesday - 1900 Park Fare - Dinner ( we are doing the Bippity, Boppity, Boutique ) First
Thursday - Food and Wine Fest again...
Friday -
Saturday, Lunch - Be Our Guest, Dinner Chef Mickeys
Sunday - Home

My questions are...
Should I keep Ohana? I am getting mixed reviews for Dinner.
Should I keep Chef Mickey's ?

If I should cancel either or both, what are some great suggestions? What's your favorite?

Thanks In Advance!!

I was not a fan 1900 Park Fare but others love it. I did not have small children and was not thrilled with our character interaction either. Since we were a table of adults, we really kind of got glossed over.

Chef Mickey's is good for the experience and just ok for the food. If you want to see the Fab 5, then this is the place to go. It's loud and crazy but fun. If you are ok with not having all 5, I would recommend a Cape May breakfast.

I personally loved Ohana and so did my DH.

I would honestly cancel Ohana. I didnt like the food AT ALL. Slimy chicken wings, dry pot stickers, dry meat (and our ADR was at 530pm!)...not to mention dry noodles. I wasnt impressed at all. But thats just me.

1900PF dinner, honestly, the food was not good BUT the step sisters had me in stitches. OMG they're so funny!

Chef Mickeys is great if you want to see the Fab 5 characters. I was there for breakfast and thought it was meh...just mediocre. But as i said, its great for characters. Interaction is awesome. Its loud, but its a ton of fun for kids. My fave character breakfast is Cape May though. You get Minnie, Donald, and Goofy in their swim wear. Its a nice quiet breakfast with great food. Pretty resort too!

I recommend Via Napoli in Epcot for great italian food. Delicious pizza and pasta too.

We loved O'hana. It was my son's favorite place and a must do for our upcoming trip. Be advised that the place frequently runs behind, though.
I've read a ton of reviews about Chef Mickey's and most of them echo what the PPs have said - food=meh, characters=awesome.

Maybe you could try Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge or if you're going to HS, you could try Sci Fi. Both of those are commonly well-reviewed for ambience and (at least) good food.

I like your choices of 'Ohana and TRex. These are near the top of my list of favorite places to eat. Another consideration would be the "House of Blues" at Disney Springs. The Shrimp & Grits are awesome!!!!!!! If you sit outdoors, there is live entertainment to enjoy.
