Lunch character dining

Hi! We have QSDP, but will pay OOP for one character dining. We'd like a buffe and are a family of 7 (all 10 and up). Any suggestions?

If you are at the park and don't want waste time on transportation, Crystal Place (Hundred Acre characters) is good or Chef Mickeys's (Fab Five) since it's 10 min walk from MK.

My favorites for character dining are definitely Crystal Palace in MK and Garden Grill in Epcot. They both have great food and interaction.

As far as I know your only lunch character options are:

CP
Chef Mickey
CRT
Akerus

Most are dinner/breakfast places.

We did not do any character lunches (we do them for bk) but it really depends on who you want to see: Mickey and friends, Winnie the pooh and friends, or the princesses.

We want to see Mickey and Donald and probably Goofy ~ My dd is 13 and the boys are older so they'd probably DIE if I made them go to see them.

May I suggest doing breakfast at Tusker House/ Donald's Safari breakfast on your AK day. Get an ADR for as close to 8:05 as possible, show up at 8. Do this preferably on a regular 9 am opening. You get Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. And the best breakfast you'll get in the whole World.

If Donald and Mickey are a must, your choices are pretty limited.
Chef Mickey's (Breakfast or Dinner)
Tusker House (Breakfast)

Donald can also be found at Cape May (Breakfast).

Mickey can also be found at the following:
Ohana (Breakfast)

This would also be my suggestion. I love Tusker House. DELICIOUS food, a HUUUGE variety!!!! Plus, i love that iliko juice! SO GOOD! And the characters are a riot. Daisy is so funny! This is definitely a must-do for every trip. You wont regret it. Also, the best part is that breakfast is cheaper than lunch/dinner!!

NOTE: We put Chef Mickey's at the absolute bottom of
the list for food quality. We put CRT at the bottom of
the list for value.

Thanks everyone ~ I talked it over with the kids and they said ~ won't we be able to see them in the park? Bc if we see them in the park then we don't have to have breakfast or lunch with them.

Well, of course you don't HAVE to. I would still book one. Tell them it is on your list of to-dos. I would bet everyone will get into the spirit and have a good time while they are there. I personally love the character meals.
