Is there a separate lunch menu for Yak and Yeti, with cheaper lunch prices? Allearsnet just gives one menu, not separate lunch and dinner menus. We will be at disney for free dining and already have our ts for the day. DD wants to do cs at Y&Y for lunch but I know we'll need to sit in the a/c for awhile. I guess another option would be to make the ADR and order a bunch of side dishes instead of an entree. Would they let us do this?

Lunch/Dinner were the same when I went. I paid OOP for lunch with 6 of us. There were 2 adults, 4 teenagers. My bill was just over $125.00 and we shared.

I must admit, we needed the A/C also, C/S would not have helped with the heat at Animal Kingdom. Have everyone look over the meal and decide on some share stuff. You could skip your dessert which saves a lot of money and use a snack credit for some ice cream. Another idea would be to just drink water with lemon as drinks make up a good part of the actual bill.

Have you considered the Disney Dinner Plan? If you had the plan you could use 1 TS credit buy a extra drink and just share the entree and dessert provided that you both are on the Disney Dinner Plan!

I can't help with the DP business, but we eat "lunch" at Y&Y every trip. We sit at the bar and just order drinks and appetizers. No problem.

I'm guessing the OP is already on the DDP since they mention they are there for free dining.

OP, there are no separate menus for lunch and dinner so I would suggest that you could order maybe a couple of appetisers and dessert - I can't see there would be a problem with that. Seems a shame to pay OOP if you're on free dining though. Do none of the other CS places at AK appeal?

The alternative is a variation on what a PP suggested - if there is another TS meal you have planned where you could perhaps share a meal, you could use a spare TS credit to share a meal at Y&Y :confused3

One reason we always end up at Pizzafari at AK is because we're there during the hot months and the a/c seating wins out over food choice every time. If it's very hot, you might want to try Pizzafari as your cs meal.

If you still want to eat at Yak and Yeti, look at your line up of ts meals. Are you eating at a less expensive place (The Plaza, maybe a breakfast, etc.) where you could pay OOP for that meal and use table service credits for Yak and Yeti?

OP sorry I just totally overlooked the fact that you have the free DP, but you could still use 1TS to eat at yak and yeti and share it. If you have a dinner planned for later on that night you could share it provided its not a buffet or place like Ohana. Also do the math and see if any of your TS ressies are cheaper than yak&yeti, if you have something cheaper, than it may be wise to pay oop for the cheaper meal and use your TS credit for the higher meal. When I am on the regular DP I always pay OOP for my breakfast since they are cheaper than dinner, this year I said I am just going to do the deluxe plan so I dont have to bother with the whole OOP thing. Also if you want you can check out the allears site it has disney menus and prices.

Nope, table service is already booked, and it won't save me any money to cancel one of these for Y&Y. Flame Tree doesn't work for us at all- DD doesn't eat meat and I am not a BBQ fan. We usually go to Pizzafari for the a/c, don't mind the food but were hoping for something different. I will figure it out... I was just hoping that lunch at Y&Y would be a little cheaper than the dinner.
