Hello :) I was wondering how the dining plan would work at the Main street bakery work (specially CS credit). Thank you!

We had to burn our last two DxDDP creditsas CS credits at Main St Bakery on our way out last week Friday.

You get one sandwich, one dessert and one drink. You can choose to get one sandwich, one bag of chips and one drink if you would like.

I went to the MS Bakery on Sunday night (9:30) to pick up food for the next day. (We had counter service credits left and had to catch ME at 7:20 the next morning.)

I picked up ham and cheese sandwiches- when I put the four in a takeout container, it created a perfect giant circle sandwich - three chocolate croissants, one cinnamon roll (HUGE), two apple juices and two waters.

I am sure the drink could be a coffee--but I can't remember if it was real coffee or Nescafe.

In the morning, we ate the pastries, and we took the sandwiches on the plane to eat for lunch.

Just watch out for what time lunch starts. I was there at 11am and they still hadn't started lunchtime yet so I just got a couple of pastries for snacks. The CM there had little clue about anything. I was a bit bummed. I went there at dinnertime at 7pm another day and ordered dinner CS no problem.

That said - I didn't care for anything we got from Main St Bakery. It was my biggest disappointment of the entire trip. I had the crumb cake and choc croissant for snacks on my first trip. It was OK...but tasted just like anything I can get from the grocery store.

On my 2nd trip (simply because it was convenient), I had the turkey sandwich which I didn't care for (to be fair, I didn't like Starring Roll's sandwich either. Premade sandwiches with stacks of deli meat just don't appeal to me and the bread wasn't so good either). I then ordered the cheesecake and it was OK. My dh also ordered the choc cake as a snack and said it was just OK too.

All in all, I was underwhelmed. Note that I didn't order any of the cinnamon rolls though..we don't care for them (too sweet) so I just stayed away. Those might well have been good.

I did REALLY enjoy Starring Rolls bakery, the bakery in France, and Boardwalk Bakery (can u tell I love bakeries?)

That is good to know that they weren't ready for lunch at 11am.. .b/c we like to eat early.
Thank you :)

That is the same as it was when we were last there. I did get cappuccino as myu dessert (I don't think it was nescafe - it tasted too much like coffee :rotfl:) and we were also give the option of taking 2 desserts or pastries instead of a sandwich.
Options offered to us were:

Sandwich, pastry and beverage
Sandwich OR pastry and 2 beverages
2 pastries and a beverage

We really enjoyed our meals there - the lunch I noted earlier and also the breakfast there...we had egg and cheese croissants and pastries...shared among the four of us.
