What kind of character interaction do you have? I have heard the best character interaction is at breakfast, but we want to do the BBB before and we aren't really breakfast people. Are there princesses in the restaurant at lunch as well? Is lunch better than dinner?

Lunch has better character interaction than dinner. Dinner only has the Fairy Godmother and mice in the dining room and they don't stop at the tables. Cinderella greets for all meals downstairs.

We went to lunch last year and enjoyed it so much we've made reservations again this year. I thought the character interaction was wonderful - and yes, 4 princesses (or in our case, 3 princesses and Mary Poppins) were in the dining room.

Do you need to eat at the castle? You could also try the restaurant in Norway with the Princesses or 1900 Park Fare with the Cinderella characters. Good luck..I personally feel that our breakfast was way tooooooooo much for what we got at the castle.

We completely enjoyed our lunch at the Castle - we actully really enjoyed the meal and thought it was very good - the Princesses were gracious and wonderful. I always have pretty basic expectations about the interaction but they were wonderful with my girls. We got great pics and the girls were thrilled to meet them. We would also recommend Akerhaus in Norway - again very good breakfast and easy character interaction. I would not recommend 1900 Park Fare - only because of the buffet food was not for us at all and the restaurant had a crowded noisy feel. Our hardest part of our princess vacation was meeting Ariel - all those princess meals and no Ariel. Finally a 30 minute wait at her Grotto - But that was no fault of character dining. One of the most important part of meeting the princesses was the opportunity for pics and conversation - so space and noise was important to us!

We have done both lunch and dinner at CRT. I enjoyed my meal more at dinner, they really rush you through your lunch. However, the princess interaction at lunch is really great. They are not there for dinner, however Cindy meets you downstairs for your photo. Most of us are really not going for the food right? Choose which you feel is most important. Dinner was really cool b/c we were there for the fireworks and we watched them from inside!

We had lunch there. The menu is limited and so is the princess interaction. It was a very rushed atmosphere. The same goes for Norway. I guess the princesses are so popular and their restaurants are so busy, the good interaction is lacking.
