Looking at the menu here, it looks as if DH and I can have a nice light meal and some yummy drinks. Is it a small lounge that we would have trouble getting a seat around noon on a Saturday? Last weekend in April. Thanks!

We have stopped by several times and never had trouble finding a seat; the interior has a decent amount of space and then the patio does as well.

It is really good for drinks or light food. The inside is often crowded, but the deck usually is not, and is our preferred area to sit.

We pop into Nomad often. Sometimes it’s crowded, and you might have a few minutes’ wait to scout out a table, but there’s pretty good turnover. In addition to outside, there are also seats at the bar, and a large table next to the bar that can sit many separate groups of 2 or 3 people.

Very cool. I'm liking this option better than Satuli. Seems more relaxing and upscale, and that is the point of this Adults Only trip!

The crowds at Nomad Lounge completely perplex us. We have been during the day during super crowded days in the park and have been the ONLY people there, both inside and outside when it was super hot outside. At other times we go and there is ZERO seating anywhere. In January the outside tables were PACKED with people who were lingering, a table never opened up. Same for the tables inside. We ended up sitting at the big table near the bar when seats opened up. We haven't been able to figure out why the crowds here vary so much.

You can definitely have a nice light meal here. My DH and I do this all the time.

It is the go to place for my son and I to eat while at AK, we love it. Normally we sit inside, he doesn't like to sit outside unless it's about 70, no hotter. We have always been able to find a seat but we don't go at noon. Push comes to shove, there are almost always seats at the bar.

I'd go a bit closer to 11 or 11:30 to be on the safe side. The Nomads secret is definitely out and it can get pretty busy, I'd imagine even more so on the weekend. But definitely go. Its our favorite spot on property

Is it well- behaved, older child friendly during the day?

We've taken our daughter there several times and she is always welcomed! They even have some great non-alcoholic drinks for the kiddos!

Ok, great. We have a 9:50-10:50 FP for FOP so we can do that toward the end of the window and head over after that. Thanks!

Agree with all previous posters, it’s a gem of a spot. Their hours may have changed but a few months ago they didn’t open until 11:30.
