Lunch at Dinner?

Has anyone ever been allowed to order off a lunch menu at dinner? Oddly enough, a couple places we're going look to have a better selection at lunch.

Mama Melrose in MGM always makes my DS his favorite lunch entree at dinner but my advice would be to take the latest lunch you can if you are seeing a compatable lunch selection. You wouldn't want to be disappointed, nor put the waiter on the spot if they couldn't deliver.

When I worked at the Rose&Crown after lunch the lunch food was all put away or thrown away if cooked so not much chance of being able to get it there. I don't know how many of the other resturants are the same.

1) Typically, you cannot order from the lunch menu for dinner.
2) At some, they might allow it, but most do not.
3) There are some very good reasons
. . . the lunch items could have been put away
. . . the line-sets for dinner would be in place with lunch-sets removed
. . . the dinner menu is more expensive that lunch
