Lunch at Castaway Cay?

OK, there's steak there :goodvibes. I've just never seen it. Maybe the grill/serving dish was empty at the times I was there. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough. I'll look harder the next time.
You may have overlooked them. They're seriously kinda sad little pitiful things that I'm not inclined to eat. Thin. Looked waaaaay overdone. I went on an excited search for the SB steaks once. Then I laughed and ate chicken. LOL!

The steaks I saw at SB were very thin and overcooked. I think my only real complaint is the smoke from the grill. I wish they had better ventilation in the area so that you don't have to inhale it when getting your food.

The steaks are very thin like you said so it's hard not to over cook them.

Agree with several of the posts above that the steaks on CC aren't particularly appealing. However, I'm happy to settle for a burger while on the beach. Just seems to fit in with the overall feel of the place.

Just had lunch at SB Friday and had the ribeye. DW asked for medium rare, and it was pretty close to cooked properly. Whatever seasoning they put on the steak tasted great to us (we were hungry). I also asked for a burger medium rare - nope (couldn't eat it). The ribs were good - not overdone at all.

Interestingly, DD said she had a flatbread at Cookies II (I think she at at II).

My favorite thing for lunch is a generous helping of the couscous tabbouleh with chicken I stripped off the bones mixed in + plenty of fresh fruit. The "bbq" is okay but not especially good. I don't like eating heavy out there when I've been in the sun, etc. Feels like a sack of rocks in my belly.

There is a flatbread with melted cheese that is cut up into squares available at Cookies One (sort of like a cross between a thin crust pizza and garlic cheese bread). That might be the same flatbread your DD had at Cookies Two.

On our last cruise they also had a very interesting thing I had never seen before, Chicken hot dogs!

I find the food on CC kinda meh but it fills a hole =)

I loved that on our CC Double Dip, they changed up the menu at the SB BBQ and on the second day there was grilled salmon!! That was super delish!!!

I've never seen steak (of any variety) at Serenity Bay and we always eat our lunch there.

We always head to Serenity Beach and we have always had steaks. They are cooking them on the grill right beside the hamburgers. You may have to tell them if you want one rare so they can put a new one on the grill for you.

In response to other comments, if you ask for one rare, they prepare it just for you and while they are thin, I thought the flavor was really good--something about eating a steak by the ocean--maybe that made the difference.
