Lunch and dinner reservations?

I know some restaurants don't require reservations but some suggest that you do. We have picked out two or three restaurants around City Walk and some in the parks. We will be visiting May 20-23. Is it necessary for us to make reservations now for restaurants like Cowfish, Mythos, and some other restaurants around City Walk? We plan to eat at the NBC Sports Grill but I don't think reservations are needed there. We will be staying at Hard Rock Hotel and we may have a meal at the Kitchen. We are just trying to make our plans now and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

look on the UO website, on each restaurant page you'll find a "reserve now" button if the restaurant accepts reservations

most of them will only let you book 30 days in advance.

We made a lunch reservation at Mythos. They don't open up the online reservations until a few weeks before so there's no rush for May travel. I had no problem getting any reservation I wanted. We waited a whopping 10 minutes for a table at Cowfish right after the parks closed (7pm) for dinner as walk ins.
If you want to make reservations it's always nice to have them but it's not dire. I recommend getting the Open Table app or going to their website. Most of the City Walk restaurants are on there and you can make and manage all of your reservations in one spot.

I'll add Bubba Gump does not accept reservations but if you're a Landry Select Club card member, you get priority seating (as well as a $25 reward if it happens to be your birthday month ... )
you'll also get the same priority at all other Landry venues, such as T-rex, Rainforest Café, Yak&Yeti over at the Motherland (so no need to make a reservation there either)

just don't use your credit card there, lol (re: their very recent problem with their credit card records ...)
