Lunch--50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi Dine In?

There will be 7 in our party. What would you recommend, 50's Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine In Theater?

We love 50's Prime Time.....

However, we do tend to interact with the CMs. If you enjoy 'home cooking' though- in MHO it can't be beat!!!

Have in mind what you'll encounter at the 50's: It will be noisy and things can get out of hand with the gimmicks. We ate there once and by the time I left my ears were ringing in pain. We will never return, it is just not our style.

Been to both, we think the food is much much better at 50s PTC. You do need to go in with asense of humor and be ready to play along. Fried chicken is very good. Meat Loaf and Pot Roast good also. Best advice, dont get any Green Beans, I think they make them bad on purpose, to use as a little side gag. PB & J milkshakes, MMM MMM good!!

I was a little dissapointed in Sci Fi, the food was edible but nothing to get excited about. Th atmosphere is cool. Yall cant all eat at same table at Sci Fi but you can at 50s.

Your choice is good food vs. mediocre food -- go to Prime Time!

I'll have to try 50's Prime Time on the next trip. I'll be taking the family back to sci-fi this time also because I think the kids would enjoy it but also *I* found the food delicious on my last solo trip! Prime rib... delicious!

50's has great food and your party will be seated together. SciFi has mediocre food and you will be seated in two "cars", and it will be difficult to talk to each other.

I've never left 50's with a headache, even when I've had a "rowdy" server.

I do'nt find the volume there any louder than SciFi.

Although Sci Fi does have great burgers, I don't think a party of 7 would be comfortable there. You would have to have 2 separate cars.

Both have good atmosphere,but to me primetime food was good but oridinary and the sci-fi was better and the selection was different from the other restaurants.Also sci-fi has that great old drive-in efffect and is in the dark so it seems to be more relaxing on those hot days.

We always enjoy going to 50's Primetime.

We just enjoy the food thre and old time atmosphere. Never been to Sci Fi, but it really seems hit aand miss.

Have you looked at the menus for each restaurant.

Maybe that will sway you one way or the other.

We like both and go to both restaurants quite frequently. I think Prime Time would be better for your group mainly for the seating arrangements. At Prime Time you will be more comfortable all sitting at the same table.

We've been to the Sci-Fi (a couple of times) and I guess I didn't think the food was that bad? There are a couple of "3-seater" cars that can fit us (the 3 kids sit in one row and the adults sit 2 and 2).

I'm really interested in trying something new. From all the posts it seems like we'll have a much better experience at 50's!!
