luggagfe question, about the size of suitcase.

We are flying allegiant air, and on there site it says we can have a carry on and here is the sizes...... 9" H x 14" W x 22" D.

question...... 9 inches high?? since when is a suit case 9 inches high ? are these off? I know I have a suit case that is 22 inches high, 14 inches across and 9 inches deep. is this what they mean??

They charge 30 dollars for the first suit case to be checked, thats crazy. So if I can will my suit case do ok to go on the flights with me?

9 x 14 X 22 is the same no matter which order you have them. They dont care where the handle/ top is, etc. They just want to make sure its not larger then that.
