How should you measure your luggage for a flight? Our luggage exceeds the 62" limit by two inches because of the wheels. Should I exclude the wheels and just measure the suitcase
itself?

Great question - I hadn't thought about that? I've been more worried about the weight - with 2 daughters (18 and 22)

wheels are generally included in the size of the bag.

I agree with Gail. Wheels are to be figured into the overall size of the luggage. Don't know what airline you are flying, but according to a representative from Delta, the wheels are included into the size limitations. Call your airline directly, because their guidelines could be different but i believe most are figured this way.;)

Gail, nice new pics;)

Thanks everyone, I will be flying out on usair. I think it's time to start repacking!! I did e-mail usair and am waiting for a reply. I will let you know if anything changes.
