luggage when you switch resorts

When you switch resorts on Disney property do they transfer your luggage?
I am thinking of one night at Movies because airlines bumped my flight and will now get in 11pm the night before my existing resis at AKL. So if I do this will they move my luggage to AKL or would I have to call a cab? I will not have a car.

I switched resorts once and I called the bellman in the am to get the luggage. They picked up our luggage around 9AM - gave us a pickup slip and took it from SSR to WLV. We went off to the parks - returned to the WLV and my luggage was in my villa when I returned from the park around 9PM.

This is exactly what i'm doing. I'm staying 1 night at ASMo on 12/8/07 and then 7 more days at AKL 12/9 - 12/15. CRO told me that ASMo would send our luggage to AKL for us. They said to leave it in the front (or in the room, cant recall off hand) and tell them that we're switching resorts and that it would be taken care of. Anyway, as long as you tell the front desk that you're doing this, they will give you instructions on what to do.
