Luggage transfers from Swan/Dolphin to POP?

I am now considering a 3 day trip to Swan/Dolphin and then switching hotels and going to POP for another 4-5 nite stay. What is the best way to transfer luggage and all ,from one resort to the other. Has anyone done this ? Thanks for your help .

We did this last August from the Swan to the Poly. When we checked in at the Swan, we just told the front desk what our plans were and asked how to go about the luggage transfer. They notified bell services about our transfer and it was taken care of at check out. Just have bell services take your bags from your room, they store them and move them. You won't have access to the luggage until after about 4 pm, though (maybe even a bit later) after you check in at Pop.

Thanks for the info...I wasn't sure if they would do the transfers since the Swan/Dolphin resorts are not "official " Disney Resorts Thanks again !!!

When we transferred over to the Boardwalk from the Swan a couple of years ago, they wouldn't do the transfer because they are not an "official" Disney hotel. We thought about wheeling our luggage over ourselves but decided on taking a cab - shortest taxi ride in my life!

In the past year many have reported being able to get luggage transfers from the S/D to all the Disney resorts.

If at all possible, try to stay at the S/D during the last part of your trip. It's much more enjoyable to go from a value to a deluxe.
