luggage transfer

now this is my experience on my trip on June 11th 2022 so things might change. I was at royal pacific for 2 nights then transferred to cabana bay for 3 nights. When I went to luggage services after my 2nd night, I asked them to hold my bags and we would come back later in the day to transfer to cabana and to my surprise they said they can transfer it for me. I have read here many times they don't does this so it might be new, or I just got lucky but it you are doing split stay make sure to ask as hopefully this is the new policy.

Same with me........we had 3 nights at Royal Pacific end of May, 1st of June. I asked at the front desk what options I had to transfer to Surfside where I had last 3 nights reservations. She actually told me there was a shuttle that would take us but, for me to check with luggage services to set that up. When I asked there, they said they could transfer the luggage for us. Just said it may not be there right away.
Which I had no problem with........I picked up the luggage when we got tired & took a break from the parks, that afternoon.
It worked great for us!!!

How long did it take to transfer luggage? We are transferring from Sapphire Falls to Royal Pacific. Since they’re so close I may take carry-on and wheel it over in the morning and check in, and ask for our large luggage to be transferred.

I'm not sure how long it actually took. We left ours at the luggage desk before the parks opened that morning & didn't head over to Surfside until later that evening.

From what I understand, you can do transfers from deluxe only. So RP to CB works but not the other way around.

I was able to have the bellman pickup my luggage in my room at RP in the morning and then was able to get it at CB at checkin at 4pm.

I have a question regarding check in that some of you may be able to answer. We are staying at Endless Summer and then moving to the Royal Pacific. I don't care about getting the room early but want my express passes ASAP. Can Endless Summer at least issue our express passes so we don't have to make an extra stop on an already busy morning?

Unfortunately not - your RPR room key IS your Express Pass, so you have to go check in at RPR to get your room key/EP.

Correct, but the poster should note that you can get your keys/express passes at 6am on check-in day… and not when you actually can check in.

You just have to go to the hotel first thing in the morning.
