Luggage Transfer when switch hotels

Hey everybody! This is the first trip EVER that I am not planning like crazy for. That is mostly because it is such a last minute trip and I am not the one with all of the details since I am tagging along on my cousin's trip. I will be getting there on a Friday which is one day before her and her party . I'm not sure where I am going to be staying but most likely a moderate since it is only for one night. I will then be joining them at OKW for the duration of my stay. However, the reservation at OKW is not under my name. It is under my cousin's friends name (which I don't even know ) Will they still transfer my luggage from my mod to OKW? What would I have to do to have them transfer it and where would I go to pick it up? How long does the transfer normally take? Thank you!

Your name should be on the OKW reservation even if you aren't the primary. So use your name.

Forgot to add that Bell Services handles this at both ends and tipping is standard practice.

Well, first of all, get in touch with your cousin and find out the friend's name.

It shouldn't be a huge problem, since your name has to appear as an occupant of the room.

Give your bags to the nice folks at Bell Services. They'll take care of the transfer for you. Don't forget to tip them.

Usually your bags won't appear at the new resort until sometime in the afternoon. Make sure that you have whatever you will need for the day in your park bag. When you get to your new room, call and ask to have your bags delivered, or pick them up from Bell Services at OKW.

haha.... Yes I will find out the name of my cousin's friend. This trip is so last minute and I was mainly going to visit my cousin. So it doesn't have to be the name of the reservation. I just wasn't sure that it could be anyone in the party. And I will definitely remember to tip! Thanks!

We actually have our first split stay coming up (we leave Tuesday )
So when we leave PORFQ to move to CBR I have to bring my lugggage down to bell services at PORFQ and then go pick up my luggage from bell services at CBR ??? I thought I just called down to bell services (leave a tip under the luggage) and then my luggage would be in my room at CBR ...

First of all....you really don't have Bell Services at the moderates..you have Luggage Assistence.
No one is going to come to your room, without you there, to get your luggage to transfer to your new resort. And no one is going to bring your luggage to your new room, unless you are there to accept it...that's just the way it is.

So, with that in mind.....bring your luggage to Luggage Assistence at FQ first thing in the morning....I do it before 8am. I usually stay at BWV, so Bell Services is pretty quick about getting up to my room quickly. With Luggage Assistence, it isn't quite as quick, so it makes sense to bring your bags to them. And yes, a tip is expected.
Then, you can expect your bags at CBR later in the day...most likely after 4, and probably later than that. I have always had to call and see if my bags had arrived yet. If I was going to be in the room, they would then bring the bags. They will not deliver bags to an empty room!!! It should not be confused with baggage delivery use with DME!! DME baggage handling is the only case where bags will be delivered automatically to rooms, occupied or not. WHy??? Because tips have already been taken care of.
