Luggage tags... silly question ahead...

For whatever reason, I was sent luggage tags with my hotel voucher. Does anyone think these tags might encourage a little extra "magic"? Did anyone else receive tags with impossibly sticky GOO all over them?? How do you get it off? Is it even worth trying? (soap and water hasn't worked for me)

I ended up just using my fingers and rubbing it off. To tell you the truth I don't know what purpose they serve. But I have attached them and are ready to use them when we leave for our honeymoon day after tomorrow. We can only hope for a little extra pixey dust.

I got them too and yes thought what the heck with the GOO !! I did try water but ended up just using my fingers and wet paper towel , It didnt get it all but hey they are pretty cool..

I didn't get the tags, so I'm not sure exactly what the goo is, but depending on what kind of surface you're trying to get it off of there's a couple of things that might work. Rubbing alcohol or any petroleum based product like WD 40 will usually work. Of course if you're taking it off a fabric surface I wouldn't use the WD 40, it leaves an oily residue that has to be washed off with soap and water and would really be hard to get off fabric!

I've gotten the luggage tags when I booked a package with a DC discount. When I booked all aspects of my trip seperately, I didn't get any tags.

I do remember the tags being very sticky - I did what kissygoose did, just riubbed it off with my fingers until it was gone.

I LOVE these tags!! You're not going to believe this, but its part of the reason I love to book our room with the DC discount. I have collected all of them for the past 4 years and I'm still bumming because I have lost my very first one, its the year the Animal Kingdom opened and it had that as its decoration. I'll be getting our last tags for this April and then no more after DC is gone . As far as the goo goes, I think its there just to keep the plastic attach thingy on the tag. It never really bothered me. Save your tags! They make great souvenirs.

I also got tags when I booked this coming trip with DC (room only).......but I also just booked a trip for March for DS and the comfirmation says lanyards Have they changed it? Or will he get both? (Our confirmation never said anything about tags)

We booked through DC and leave in a couple of weeks. We haven't received any yet? If we were getting them should we have them by now?

Have you received your hotel vouchers yet? They come with those. If not, I would give DC a quick call and have your ressie number handy to give them.
