Luggage Tag Exchange?

I received my luggage tags today but they sent four female characters. My son is not too happy. I understand they are based on color magic bands you ordered (red= Minnie, pink = Daisy), but if I call, will they switch them out?

Well I called and asked really nicely, and apparently nothing they can do until I check in. Even then they may or may not give us new ones. Oh well, Minnie is cool too.

I'm wondering how long before your trip did you get the luggage tags. We leave in a week and a half and have not received any luggage tags. I just assumed that they don't do them anymore. We did get our Magic Express bands but no luggage tags. Should I be calling Disney?

If my kids were 'not too happy' about a free thing from Disney, they could go without. I would not be making a call, wasting any of my time, over something like that. Gotta learn to roll with the little disappointments in life, IMO.

Look under the Magic Bands in the box they came in. Should be in an envelope there.

You had to book a MYW package. If that is what you booked then lift the insert and you should find the luggage tags underneath your magic bands.

When you got your magical express luggage tags was it in a booklet of other "perks" if so in that booklet it was say everything you have and then list the discount card and luggage tags if you are entitled to them.

The luggage tags are new. I believe you had to have a check in date of September 29th or later. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes they are the new "mickey mail" ones. They started on like September 29.

Our bands just got delivered yesterday and forgot all about them. Bolted out of bed last night when I suddenly remembered and ran downstairs to check and sure enough, there they were!

To the OP I wouldn't get your hopes up on exchanging them. With the old tags they didn't keep them onsite and if they were missing it was a sorry but there is nothing we can do sort of situation.

This cracked me up.. "Not to happy about a free thing from Disney." My Disney bill would tend to tell me this trip, tags and all included was not free, so get off your high horse. If you think the little extras are free, then I have a bridge to sell you in NY. If anything, I find it a tad disappointing that Disney does not look at the sex of the guest or allow you to customize. They seem to do it with every other selection and make sure your child receives a proper title. Anyway we will just roll with it as this poster suggested. It will not ruin our trip in the slightest. Thanks to others who offered to swap, but all is good and it is just a luggage tag. We will probably lose it soon anyway. Now let the countdown begin.

Oh and to the other poster who asked about when we received our tags, they were about 28 days away.

You are lucky to got one, in Canada they wait at your resort like the magic bands. Where is the logic? We need luggage tags before we leave!
