Good evening all,

I was just wondering is there free luggage storage beside the entrance to Salon Mickey with an AP and if not how much does this cost?

We have one Dream and one Fantasy AP.
Thanks :)

Hiya :goodvibes

You can have up to 3 bags for free with a Dream AP

ETA - That's for either the one next to guest relations or the consigne next to counter N°13 at the Studios

After that according to DCP it's 3€/7€/9€ depending on wether it's sml/med/large - rates are as of the 12th of April 2012

with your Dream AP, you can store up to 3 pieces of luggage for free at the luggage store next to the main park.

You only get this free with a Dream AP. If you pay to store your luggage there, its 3 euors per bag (ie something that doesn't look like a case) and 7 euros for a case (of any size).

Thanks ladies, thats perfect, we will be able to store our two suitcases and DDs carry on trolley. Thanks a mill for your speedy replies

The last time we went, we paid to leave our bags in the lockers at the station.

I didn't know we could have had free storage with our Dream passes.

Are there any problems taking suitcases and backpacks (we always end up with loads of luggage!) through security to get to the baggage store? We're thinking of all the crowds trying to get through!

Although the last time we were there was April, and I understand there have been some changes to the security gates since then?

its no problem at all, there is a baggage-scan machine at the right-hand side of the baggage security area at the entrance to the park, you'll be directed to go through that with your cases/backpacks.

Hi,

Shouldn't be a problem providing you go through baggage scanner.

The only thing to watch out for is liquids in the case. One year a member of our party had a bottle of wine in his case and they wouldn't allow it past security - despite that its only going to storage. The case had to be opened and checked.

What tickled me, was that it a one of the 15th anniversary bottles of wine that they were selling in the Hotel stores and in the Village. However, I can understand not wanting to allow near the site.

In the end we had to put the case in storage in the train station.

Regards

Iain

Hi Iain,

Was it just because the liquid was alcohol?

Presumeably we'd be ok with leaving soft drinks/water for the journey back and toiletries etc. in the cases?

Any alcool is a no no especially when it's in glass bottles. You are fine with what you are talking about :goodvibes

Maybe a daft question: But can hair straightener, dryer, curling iron, bottles of shampoo, ... and such go trough without setting the scanner off?
