Luggage question

I have Disney transfers from MCO. My luggage will be transported under the bus for the trip. When I get to port, I’d it my job to unload my luggage and check it in or is that luggage unloaded and managed by cast members once it’s at port? I’ve always stayed at the Hyatt so have never had to think about this. Thanks!

The luggage will be unloaded from the bus, and they will likely ask you to stay seated while they do this. One you are off the bus there will be porters there to assist you, if needed.

Eh... Depends? Sometimes, the luggage doesn't travel with the bus and instead comes in a separate truck. Even when it does come on the bus, cast members will usually take it while they're directing you to testing. I don't think I ever had to deal with a porter when I took the DCL transfer bus.

That’s what I’m hoping! I am hoping to try for an upgrade and hoping to move quickly to testing. I hope I don’t have to wait for all luggage to be unloaded before I can proceed.

You might still have to wait for the luggage, though. When I took the bus, the driver took the luggage off while we sat and waited. Then, the Disney cast members shooed us over to the testing tent and told us not to worry about the luggage. It was only about 5 minutes of waiting, though.

If you hand your luggage over the DCL transfer bus driver to be stored under the bus, it will be stored under the bus, and therefore available to you upon exiting the bus.

The only time it won't be stored under the bus is if you have the MCO Hyatt or a Disney resort transfer your luggage for you, instead of you taking your luggage to the bus yourself.
