Luggage Question

I cruised DCL once before and I flew down to MCO same day and used DCL transfers- so I checked my luggage in NY and didnt see it again until I was on the cruise. This time, we are flying down the day before, driving to a hotel. Staying overnight and taking the hotel shuttle to the Port. My question is... what happens with our luggage? I take it that we put the tags on the morning of the cruise at our hotel. But what happens after that?? I'm sooo nervous that it will get lost- I dont know WHAT I would do if that happened. They don't let you carry it on yourself huh?? THanks for any advice!

NO we're staying near the port.... I cannot remember where!! I'd better look that up when I get home!!! lol- it was recommended on here. Got a great rate.... holy hot dogs I am drawing a blank!!

When you arrive at the terminal, the Porters will take your bags. It will then be delivered to your room later in the day. I think the chances of it getting lost are very slim, anything is possible but I wouldn't worry...

We ALWAYS stay at WDW. (Sailed 5 times) We tag our luggage at home, tell DCL how many pieces and what flight we came in on....they took our luggage to our WDW hotel shuttled us there, then picked up our luggage at 8 am and it Magically appeared in our stateroom........all transfers were included......
