My husband and I are doing three nights on the Dream. We are very light packers and are not planning to check in anything at the airport. Same thing with departing. Does this mean after we board, we can go straight to our room and unpack? I'm a little unclear as to whether rooms are ready right when we board, and you usually have to wait for luggage to arrive, or do you have to wait for rooms and luggage? And at the end of the cruise, does that mean we don't have to leave our luggage out the night before?

Rooms are not ready until 1:30 (or close to that). If you board after 1:30 you can go directly to your room to unpack. If you're earlier than that, you'll need to handle your bags until then.

At the end of the cruise, you don't have to put your bags outside your room the last night. Just bring them with you to breakfast, as you must be out of your room by 8:00 and off the ship by 9:00.
