I've only cruised once, (without my ds and not on disney, but out of Port Canaveral) and that was a few years ago. I don't really remember much about getting the luggage to the drop off area. I *think* we just carried/rolled them ourselves. I read about people dropping off their luggae while another adult parks the car.

Is it possilbe for me to drive up, drop of the luggage, and then ds(will be 9 yrs old) and I could go park the car and carry our carry ons with us? Is it a very long walk from the parking area to the check in area?

This seems to be the only thing that bothers me about being a "single parent" and going on a cruise! Go figure!

Thanks for the help!!:earsboy:

Yes, you can drop off luggage at curb and porters will take it onto the ship..then you can park and walk over with your carryon...depending on how early you get there..you can park real close. I would say I parked less than 100 yards from the terminal...Have a great trip!

Everyone pulls up to the porters, drops luggage, then goes to park. This is the way it is supposed to be done. It is a very short walk from parking lot to terminal, but you don't want to carry luggage (no one does!)

Thanks so much guys!! I feel much better now! haha (the silly things we worry about!)

Thanks!:Pinkbounc
