Luggage and DME with 8:40 pm arrival

Arriving at 8:40 pm, other party in our room is arriving at 4:45 pm. We've both decided to use the magical express luggage delivery.

For the 8:40 arrival, when do you think my luggage will arrive at the resort?

For their arrival at 4:45--their luggage should be at the resort, but where?

Luggage should arrive within 3 hours of your check in at the resort. At 8:45 PM, by the time you get to and check into the resort it could be between 9:30 and 10:00 PM. If you are staying at a value resort, bell hop service ends at midnight and no overnight delivery is available. At other resorts you could choose to have your luggage delivered late at night, or you could ask them to deliver it in the morning at a specific time.

As a general rule, you should carry things in your carry-on that you would need for your first 24 hours. If you dont' want your luggage delivered late at night, bring your sleeping items with you on the plane so you will have them with you in the room that night.

Everytime we've used DME, our luggage was delivered to our room while we were out to dinner or the parks. Never had an issue.

I have used DME with the Luggage service about 7 times now and to me the best part of DME is the luggage service. I have never had a problem, a few weeks ago I checked in at about 245 and my luggage was in my room before 5 pm. Once I arrived late and had what I needed between my carryon and owners locker and I was tired so I asked that my luggage be held until the next morning, I just called bell services in the AM and they brought my bag right away. All the other times I have used it I don't know when my luggage came as I wasn't in the room when it was delivered.
