Lucky Points Has New Policy: I'm Very Disapointed!

Hi everyone,

I made two purchases thru Luckypoints which totaled about $175. That's 2,625 points that I earned, but didn't receive.

Before, LP had a policy where if you didn't receive points from shopping at their website that you could send them a conformation e-mail showing your receipt, and they would allot the points.

Not anymore! I was told they don't do this anymore because they, (LP), won't get paid for your shopping thru them! They mentioned that BestBuy sent them a list of people who shopped on their website back in August. Since I'm not on the list, I don't get points. (But I do have a conformation e-mail from BestBuy! But it doesn't do any good.)

I also shopped at PetsMart via Luckypoints and never received points for that either. Now Luckypoints can verify that I did in fact go thru their website to shop at these stores. But unless I'm on the list that these companies give Luckypoints, I don't receive points!!

I won't be using Luckypoints anymore. Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up about the new policy.

Bummer!
I can honestly say I spend a lot of time tracking down confirmations. My biggest gripe are the programs that won't reply! I've got several hanging out there (with unhappy members!) that I'm still waiting for them to post in my reports.
I've been also told by affiliate programs that cookies were traced back to other sites even though my link was used (hence I ask people clear their cookies before shopping). Some stores will send out email coupons specific for them and even if a rewards site link is used, because their emailed coupon was used, they won't award credit.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I always make sure to clear my cookies before doing any online shopping through RPs to make sure I am getting credit for linking through the RP site.
