Wow...maybe I should play the lottery. I posted on another thread that I had Old Navy dresses ($40) that I forgot to return. It was over 60 days and the receipt says 45 days. To top it off, I purchased them online.
Today, my husband went to return them, with the receipt... and Old Navy credited our American Express!
Then...I went out to the grocery store and decided to stop in at Bath & Body Works. The very nice sales woman asks if she can help me. I explain that I forgot my "coupon" for a free $12.50 item and that I would come back another time. She said...."no problem...that she would give me the free item!" Of course the item I choose is $14. I ask her if I can pay the difference and she says..."Yes!"
In fairness, she did say it was my lucky day because she was just being nice and that most people wouldn't do that. She probably was the manager, but I didn't ask.
Now today...I have to say...I had great customer service!f You know, sometimes it is the little things that make your day!
