Lucked out big time!

The folks that are saying keep checking back for fast passes to FOA were correct. I checked into my onsite hotel and was starting out for the park and decided to check if I could modify my River adventure to FOA and one popes up with a time within an hour and a half!,, I clicked on and headed over to AK and when I got there the were saying both rides had been down most of the day, bummer. I decided to head over there anyway for pics and the ride opened just as I got there, ended up bing a walk on with the fast pass. The SB was already showing 300 minutes when I came out! This is without a doubt one (if one the best) of the most awesome rides I have ever experiencedI just cannot get over the way things unfolded, I was not having the best day up to that point and I really needed a pick me up, a little nudge from the man upstairs and some fairy dust and we have a big grin!

That's great! It always pays to keep checking for FP+, even if MDE says there are none. Refreshing the screen multiple times often yields a time that wasn't available before, and I'm one of the biggest proponents of this technique because it has worked so well. So glad it worked out for you and that it substantially improved your day.

That's great! I refreshed a ton trying to get one Tuesday with No luck. We ended up waiting until about 10 pm to get in line, and waited about an hour and 20 Min. Not bad and the ride was awesome!
