Luck with walk-in for Homecoming?

I was wondering if anyone has been able to do a walk-in and what the wait was at Homecoming for either lunch or dinner? I have been watching for a reservation to pop up but I haven't been able to get a time that will work for us. Of course we don't mind waiting a bit and I understand it can vary by day but just curious what people's experiences have been. Thanks!

We walked up shortly after opening one day in October and were seated almost immediately.

They have a bar too. I know we walked in at lunch and were immediately seated, but this was right after it opened. They may not have been doing ADRs yet even.

We were there last night. I think you may be able to be seated, It was busy but the pace is quite brisk. The food was delicious, and it came quickly.

We were a party of 6 and walked up around lunch time back in the end of October (but we only wanted dessert). We had seen The Chew talk about the Hummingbird Cake when they were down for the Food and Wine Festival and wanted to try some. The price was $10.00 but OMG - it was the best cake I have ever tasted. I highly recommend leaving room for that - or just go for dessert like we did. Also, they had no problem with 6 people - 3 slices of cake - and 6 coffees. The slices were huge.

We walked in with no wait yesterday, mid-afternoon, for lunch. It seems the DS restaurants are easier to get into w/o reservations than those in the parks/resorts.

Thanks everyone! I actually stopped in and asked last night too and she said that at opening time it's usually no issue to seat people without ADRs. I appreciate all the feedback!
