I have been to the Royal Pacific Luau at Universal Hotel 2 years ago and it was "6" out of 10 points rating system.

The Polynesian last year......the entertainment was "8" the food "2"

Years ago the Polynesian Luau was great last year I was disappointed. Has anyone been to a Lua recently? Did I see there is a Luau at Sea World? I would appreciate input. Thanks, Gidge ;) :cool1:

My DH and I went to the Luau last year for first time and have been raving about it - the food was excellent, ribs melted in your mouth and everything was wonderful - the entertainment was amazing - we gave everything two thumbs up - maybe you caught them on a bad chef day? I want to go again. Hope you have better luck next time if you choose to try again. Our most favourite place to eat though is the Whispering Canyon Cafe for the dinner sizzling skillet all-you-can-eat meal - top notch food and the place is very entertaining.

Just went to the luau in October 2005 and was very pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed the food and thought the entertainment was great! (I did have a "real" Hawaiian luau to compare it to - I have gone to the Old Lahaina Luau on Maui and thought Disney's version was actually more fun!)

Just thought I'd let you know that "lua" in Hawaiian means bathroom. The correct spelling is Luau. Thought I'd save you some embarrasment in asking where the "lua" is at. ;) :sunny:

If you wanted to be kind you would have just mentioned the typo and that I would thank you for. :confused3

I hope you know that I wasn't trying to be mean in any way. That's why I included the little smiley face with the wink. ;) I truly thought you didn't know the correct spelling and was just trying to help. Sorry if it came across in any mean way. :flower3:

I was not at all embarrassed, but thanks for your kind consideration and spell check, I shall try and spell better in future posts.
